What does the washer part connect to because the one i took out of my lc didn't work and there was just an electrical switch and this one looks like a pump thing.

The older pump/switch requires the correct reservoir with a valve and an extra hose from memory. It's probably better all round to go the later LJ electric pump & switch. I have an old one and leaning down and pumping the washers is annoying at best.

I thought LC was the manual type one with two hoses coming out of it.

LC's and early LJ's had the push pump type. I believe (stand to be corrected) that LJ XU1's had the push pump type also.

Hi
There were two manual pump types - 1 was a sealed unit, the other had screws in the back that allowed access the tiny springs, valves and diaphragm.
Both have the same part number 2818768 and of course both double as the wiper switch.
If late LJs had an electric pump as standard - I would like to know the date of introduction.

My previous LC had an electric pump switch, I assumed it came from an LJ but I guess it could've come from a Kingswood.
