Hi have a question regarding the size diffrents of the lc gtrxu1 / gts steering wheel. i have two wheels
one lc gtr in black which is 13.1/2 inch I.D , and a brown wood grain pattern
gtr / hk-gts wheel which is 14.1/2 inch inside diameter . i was told that the steering wheel sizers had some relation to the tyer/ wheel size of the car ? so lc gtr- xu1 would have the small size . if this is right a small size wood grain,brown lc gtr wheel would be harder to find than a black one , any iders! dr terry should no

i've never compared the 2 models but always thought the were the same.

Why would holden make 2 different size steering wheels at the same time, considering the manufacturing climate it wouldnt have been cost effective

Well as i said i have two original holden wheels , not repo
one is 14.1/2 I.D,This wheel came with a LC gtr was in the boot , And the black one which is 13.1/2 inch I.D it came off a ht ute with gts gear on it .
if any one gets the chance to check there wheel I.D let me no what size
of any gts, lc gtr-xu1 wheels.

This won't help you much Dave, but it's what I've got. I believe it's the original wheel off my LC GTR (not XU1) as it came with the car, but I can't be 100% sure. This wheel has a black rim and if I butt the tape up inside the rim and measure through the centre to inside the rim again it measures 14 inches exactly. Can only find one wheel assembly in the parts manual for the GTR and as the XU1 is a sub model of the GTR I guess they came with the same wheel. Sorry to add more confusion but that's what I found.
