Hi

The lower stone tray would be hard to reproduce accurately as they are pressed and have a number of curves. They come up often on eBay and I am sure if you posted on the Wanted forum someone may have one.

I can send you some pictures if you provide me an email addy.

I would really like to make one Fibreglass, as that would shave 1 or 2 kiloes off the front. If only someone could make a mould ..... alas my stone tray isn't in a good enough condition to do so.

Why would you want to do that JBird ??

the car already weighs roughly 1050kgs!

2kg isn't going to make a huge difference!

Besides you would destroy it the first time you went over a speed bump! :fool:

geez why bother making one out of fibre glass, it would end up twice as heavy as the original.

as for making one to original, i made up a die to repress the lhs of my boot floor for my lc. Was pretty simple but the stone tray has alot work in it to copy, talking more than thousands to tool up, in the long run you MIGHT break even.

Heya. you can buy the air damns for about 75 bux on ebay, but i havent seen many stone trays advertised. A mate of mine just used some aluminium. Im interested in getting a stone tray, whats the going price. And just wondering if there was an thread on here on installing the whole set up. cheers.
