Gents,
I did a marathon clean on the interior. Seats, door trims, console all out and cleaned. Nifti works wonders- especially with the aid of a toothbrush.
Now I can't get the those silly black seat hinge covers back on.
It looks like mine have had the 'spreader pins' glued to the cover.
Cut a long story short....How do I re affix them to the seats.
Your valuable and precise help is appreciated in advance. Max
how do I refit the seat

Yes the pins do break off over time and the same thing happened to some of my covers when I had them retrimmed. The motor trimmer just used some clear silicone to fix it to the hinge bracket and also applied some masking tape on the outside, to hold the cover in position. Once the silicone set, just remove the masking tape.

The silicone worked a treat Mick. Thanks.

And there is no problem removing them again later on after using the silicone treatment?
