And while we are at it, any one know what R Spec tyres are available to suit a 16 x 9?

Best i rephrase the question.

Can any one tell me what brands are still available in the following sizes ;

I need some tyres to suit my 15 x 10 hotwires for normal everyday use on my hatch.

I need some R Specs other than Toyo 888's to suit track work on the old girl.

Thanks very much for the info though fellas, all useful.

Datto, you have had the same Avatar for 2 days.........???????

Yokohama are the only ones making a 265/50R14, and even then, you have to wait 3-6 months for a batch to come in. I'm told that Sumitomo also do one, but I've not looked into them.

They had the last 4 Bridgestone Eager 245/50R14's in existence on sale at the Summernats at the Bridgestone stand.

EDIT: My bad, you are talking 15" tyres, NFI.

Good year do a Eagle GTII tyre in P295/50R15 (part number: cnr-116554011) which is'nt too expensive. US $119.95 ea

Then there is a Yokohama P295/50R15 part number: YOK-81008 which is a little cheaper than the good year. US $95.95

And finally there is BFG P295/50R15 which is in between both in price, but probably below both in performance when it's wet!! Part number: BFG-53415 US $117.95

All this is from the Summit racing catalogue that arrived at my doorstep with the bits I ordered last week.

And again I say

Your a bastard Dave

Remember next time you order parts out of US to ask if anyone needs anything first

How do the upper trailing arms look by the way?

The Yokie 285/40/15's are a great tyre and fit the Torana perfectly.
You can pm or email scalpa off this site. He has traction tyres in Melbourne and may still have some left.
