hi everyone,i've been restoring a lc gtr (slowly) and i was wondering if i should have 2 or 3 compliance plates,as i only have the the 2 on the radiator support.thanks for any help

radiator support is panel at front with the radiator and headlights etc, the compliance plates are usually on the firewall bulkhead front of the windscreen.

should be an ADR plate, it's a big plate and sitting behind the booster on the raised section. Should be two holes where it gose. Tha ADR plate should match the boby number on the left inner guard

please ignore my post as lil do i know about LC/LJ as there are two plates on the rad support.radiator support is panel at front with the radiator and headlights etc, the compliance plates are usually on the firewall bulkhead front of the windscreen.

69 model cars only have 2 tags as the ADR tag didnt start till 70.
69 it will have the VIN/PSN tag (long skinny tag)
and the PAINT/TRIM tag
if its a 70 on
it will have these above two tags and a ADR tag mounted behind the booster on firewall and the numbers on this tag are to match the inner guard number

PS if you want to pm me your VIN/PSN number i can tell you if you have a 69 2tag car or a 70/71 thats missing a tag

thanks for your help guys,it must be a 69model,it has no holes on the firewall next to the heater,body number & model etc are on the large plate on the radiator support

On 69 models tag numbers don't match chasis numbers like later models.

It would pay to check that the VIN identifies it as a 69. If it is a 70 or 71 VIN then there should also be an ADR. For value purposes it would be wise to find out now.

it's got the brown steering wheel ,the body number on the body id plate matches the chassis number.
