As far as XU-1s are concerned, Adelaide cars had the small buckles.

determining the exact seatbelt for a particular
model can be hard, Holden used 3 suppliers
Rainsford,Cooldrive and Britax to manufacture
their belts. So your end up with cars that are close
in production date but have different belts. My
72 GTR has "GM PRESS" belts, except for the
drivers side rear which is the LION type. What
was in yours originally?

I stripped an lc that had gm press small buckle belts and i wasnt sure if they would have been the originals or not, plus i have a 73 gtr brisbane built car that im not sure which belts it should have, i think it should have the lion emblem big buckles.

My 73 LJ SL (May) and 73 LJ S (September) parts car both have the small buckles except for the middle rear, all with 'GM PRESS'.

72 adelade had large flat type and 73 adelade had the small flat type
with gm press.
but the adelade cars that had the small buckle still seemed to have the large buckle center rear.
72/73 brisbane had the type that are rased at the front gm press
hope this helps
