woohoo! My fave song of all time right there, AD!!
I forgot to mention before, how about 'Hot Rod Lincoln'? Great C&W sound, about cars, cops and racing. Classic!

Well, Heath, I see that you and Tinks aren't game to voice your tastes for the general posting public's derision!  :D

Current CD in the car is Live - Throwing Copper
Most of my CDs are from the 80s. I love what was classed as "Pub Rock".
Midnight Oil
Angles
Radiators
Divinyls
INXS (old stuff)
Mentals As Anything
Uncanny X-men (mmm Brian Manix drools)
U2 (most of their CDs)
Def Leppard (saw them in 84 or 83 in Gosford back when there used to be week end concerts)
Endless list ...

Recent music
Linkin Park
Greenday (some of it)

Current favourite song is U2/Greenday - The Saints are coming.

yeha you cant go past road runner records they have some great bands.

Primus are a really great band its got some of the best bass work goin around (oysterhead, sausage, corinel claypool and the flying frog bridgade, les claypool and the holy mackeral, captain claypool and th bucket full of bernie brains, and les claypool. all have the same bassit/vocalist)

another good driving song is The Bloodhound Gang - Asleep at the wheel

cant beat a good thrashing of frenzal rhomb with such aussie classic's like: get F*%#ed you F@#%ing F#$% wit you cant move into my house, Guns Don't Kill Ducklings (Ducklings Kill Ducklings), i got the F$%^ kicked out of me by constable care.

most of the newer bands listed by the other forumer's i like. but cant beat some good ole Faith No More (mike patton era)

bit of hippie stuff john butler trio, xavier rudd, ash grunwald all good

This will show my age but I liked "Leader of the Pack" by the Shangrilas when it came out and I had a HR Shaggin' Waggon with the speakers mounted in the back panels.

Every time it came on I would turn the Bass to full and use the volume knob like a throttle on a motor bike :spoton:

Made it sound like I had a 650 Trumpy sitting in the back

Mmmmmm That reminds me of my ex-cop 650 Trophy

Anyway the other song I like is BORN TO BE WILD  BUT now it is more like BORN TO BE MILD

Regards ................. Barry

Stone Sour - Come Whatever May CD is rocking in my car atm along with some Puddle of Mudd, Aussie Crawl, Grinspoon Greatest Hits (Lost Control has some great guitar). Anything Aussie rock usually gets a run in my car & my computer has some classic USA rock.

Funniest song on my computer atm is George Baker Selection - Little Green Bag, has a fat bass line.

Gimme fuel
Gimme fire
Gimme that which I desire

Turn on, I see red
Adrenaline crash and crack my head
Nitro junkie, paint me dead
And I see red

One hundred plus through black and white
War horse
War head
f*ck em, man
White knuckle tight
Through black and white

Oh, on I burn
Fuel is pumping engines
Burning hard
Loose and clean

Oh, and on I burn
Turning my direction
Quench my thirst with gasoline

So gimme fuel
Gimme fire
Gimme that which I desire

Turn on beyond the b
one
Swallow futures
Spit out hope
Burn your face upon the chrome

Metallica owns for cruising :P
Old stuff the best

The radio in my Chevy could have stopped working ten years ago and l wouldn't have even noticed. Nothing beats the sound of a couple of 2.75" pipes stuck out under the doors and a 671 hanging out the bonnet!
Who needs tunes when the Chevy symphony is at full noise?

Laugh if you wish - but I really love David Lee Roth :D He kicks arse, and puts me in a good mood to drive in, which is good if there are cyclists in my vicinity heh heh.

Faves are - Just Like Paradise, Tobacco Road and of course some Van Halen tracks like Jump, Hot For Teacher, Panama, You Really Got Me and Running With The Devil.

Other artists which I love to drive to are Motley Crue, The Living End, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Gunners, Buckethead, Black Sabbath, Danzig, The Darkness, The Doors (LA Woman, baby), Hendrix, Satriani, Metallica, Monster Magnet... you get the picture. Anything that doesn't put me to sleep. No Air Supply!

WOW!
I'm really amazed by alot of peoples good taste in music. All you metalheads are pretty rad. except your stuff is a little slow and deep for me. I like fast and brutal metalcore/hardcore.

as i lay dying
every time i die
the deadwalk!
parkway drive
the sex pistols
god so loved the world
bloodsport
I killed the prom queen
NOFX
throwdown

but it's not a torana unless you have AC/DC playing at some stage.
