clearance issues

I've been getting my LC engineered and require disc's to be mounted to the rear end. In talking to hopper stoppers they reckon that i should be alright with a commodore set-up as the handbrake clears suspension, has anyone done this conversion who can help me out with a 'how-to' and maybe some pics? plus i wanted to run a commondore stud pattern; which leads me to point 2- what are the largest diameter wheels i could fit into an LC without any mods and as legal as possible. I'll probably opt for 16" x 7" but am having alot of trouble finding wheels to suit that will also look good on a black car.
