Maynes Bill Motor Trimming 72 New St Ringwood 3134 (03) 9870 0391
Does Veteran, Vintage and Classic work. I have used him to do 3 sets of LC GTR seats. The last being in January 07.
Reasonsble price does not always equate to reasonable work.
He will do a professional job with the right materials if available.
Example of cost is to fully do front and rear seats LC coupe $1800 which is a competetave rate.
For that I believe you get the best that I have seen. This includes restructuring and strengthening the springing and adding additional protective cover over the metal frame prior to fitting the covers.
Fro minor repairs you could not go far wrong in talking to him.

yeah, its only 2 panels that need replacing in the front, and maby another 2 in the back, the rest is immaculate, the last quote i got was over $2k.
i think when people see the car in good condition they try and charge more.

The price quoted has nothing to do with the car's condition. It has all to do with the fact they do not want to do the job but if pushed they will at a PRICE.
People involved in restoration generally look at things differently and accept the smaller repair type jobs.
