Thanks guys!
Yeah everything takes time. Ive had this EH for 4 years now. Bought it when I was 19 from an old lady who hadnt driven it for about 10yrs coz her knees were stuffed and couldnt push the clutch in anymore. Was just sitting under her house and a mechanic mate of mine spotted it and let me know. All original and totally rust free!
I had it sitting for about 2 years before I had enough $$$ to start it and was jsut going to do up a hot 6 for it but then another mate told me about a chev for sale for $1000 and thought I may as well go for it.
So a couple more years down the track and a shit load of cash later its looking heaps better.
Should go pretty well!!
Here's a brief on whats been done.
Motor: mild 350 chev, 010 2 bolt block, double hump fuellie heads(ported heaps), mild cam, weiand manifold and holley 750 vac sec carb, mallory fuel pump(ran a 12.6 in an LH torry and now has slightly bigger cam and better ignition)
Ignition: Mallory unilite dissy, Mallory Hifire 6A box, Mallory coil
Gearbox: Turbo 400 gearbox, stage 2 shift kit, B&M pro ratchet shifter, have a turbo 700 convertor that has been modified to fit a T400 2500 stall
Diff: 9" diff with 3.55 lsd
Wheels: Centerline 5 spoke billet 15"x7"
Brakes: Front HQ disc and rotors on HR drum stubs
Rear Ford discs and calipers
Radiator: HQ with a shortened core, twin thermos (hopefully this will cool it enough other wise i'l have to come up with something else)
Have 2 brake boosters and battery now in the boot
Body and front cross member have been strengthened
Lowered 3" all round, but will lower the front another 1/2" if it doesnt settle down a bit
