What year was this from!? Street and Strip 5!? must have been a while ago! i rmeber the mag from when i was a kid!!

Thats some awesome stuff! Its a shame $3500 could only just manage to rebuild a decent motor these days let alone twin turbocharge it!

I didn't think the L34 could handle 310kph, I know mine wouldn't.

For oldskool engineering that is insane. He must have been a really good driver to take that out in city traffic, but im sure traffic wasnt as bad as it is now

Hmmm, 8000 RPM - sounds like a bit of a worry.

If you wound that thing out in top gear, you could probably fit your whole hand out over the top of the drivers door!

What an impressive beast. Wonder where it is now ?

around about 25 yeras ago an Old guy at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast had a black SS with a turbo on it...wonder if it still lives....

looks good.
twin garrett/air research to4b turbos by the looks of it,each capable of 400hp.
