Do you know what horsepower that engine was putting out LJ355?

Did you ever run it down the 1/4? :)

At a guess i would say atleast 400hp never ran it down the 1/4 would have been a mid to low 11 sec with traction ? my new motor is bigger and better aiming for mid to high tens in my opinion do the tubs you will regret not doing them down the track especially with a chev

Having a bit of trouble finding someone to do the tubs locally. A lot of people are saying they're flatout for 2 months blah blah.

Does $1500 sound right for minitubs in an LC?

money comes last, are they going to get a good job for $1500. Went a went ringing in Melb for some prices, i got $1500-2500. Been told that i wouldn't have been happy with any of the places i ring. I myself would rather not do anything than have something near right.

You can fit a 8,1/2 inch tyre if you cut a arch at the front. I have see it with my own eyes. Bloke show me how it was been

I had 235's on my LJ for a while, but the arch lips had been rolled

$1500 is the norm price for minis that ive seen, but your not really getting a lot more room

If you get so coil overs fitted so the standard springs and shocks can be removed it's a bit better

Coil overs can be fitted up on a angle so that your handleing does not suck to bad

Cheers

you can ran a 235 on a sprintmaster with a standard diff and no lips rolled.

I'm thinking of using 15" rims. I should have specified I was after mainly 15" rim and tyre sizes :)

I had 225/65/14,might have been 235.The rims were a custom offste & just fitted inside the standard wheel arches.I had to hammer out the spare wheel well as the tyre did rub.Still couldn't get decent traction, better than the 13in sprintmasters.

Could have gone wider but then the car would either needed raising or have the wheel arch stretched as the diameter of the tyres can be an issue.

And it has an internally stock VL RB30 motor. I think just bigger turbo, a tune and fuel pumps/injectors. Bloody quick car.
