I'm about to clean the dashboard in my SS and was just wondering what would be the best stuff to use as I don't want to damage the silver on my dash.

^^^ yep. Warm water and detergent is usually the best way
to clean any interior parts, as most stains are water based inside
a car. ie. soft drink, sweat, dirt from hands etc.
Try the water before launching into armourall etc.

i wold say sunlight soap and warm water as some detergents can be a little strong too
