Hi every one
Just thourt i let use no whot i up to
I have owned 5 toranas over the years my first car was a lj gtr xui
The gtr iam rebuilding now i purchase just up the road of a kid who
Loves toranas but being inexperienced driver smashed it two times
He had it fixed. once then after the second time he sat it in the shed for
12 months .then i came along after a tip off .and picked it up chep
at the time i was like everey body ells looking to stick something
Nasty in LJ LC. but this came up so i grabed it i could,nt beleve my
Luck. its a 5/72 LJ GTR colour is nutmeg met it came with the log
books . the body was in god shape. I had to unpick the left gard beat it
back in to shape and fit a new noise cone led wipeing it on. it came from
Orange originally . but built in good old QLD acaciarigde plant [r.i.p]
i am 4th owner it,s 80% finnished its all maching number JL engi air chef
Raido all that was missing was wheels and steering wheel wich i still need ?
i would put some photos up of the rebuild but i am new to this computer
stuff and don,t no how yet ?

Yer guys thay are 15+7
mini lights or some call them super lights there made by performance wheels
in S.A i think or N.S.W i got them for $200 ech new spec order for the right off set
and sud paten you can order them from any tyer/wheel store .
THAY LOOK HOT HAY you should see it with the fire ball orange paint

I know its not nutmeg .met....YUK.. I just could,nt paint it brown.

This is the stage i have it at now it still needs interior finished and the rest of the rubbers / windows fitted . then the front end comes out for rebuild . I mite stick
This red hot 3.3 in it i have just for some fun as the JL202 is stock as a rock
not much fun? <_<

I did all the body work but a friend of mine help me rub it back he sprayed it
As he alot better painter then me. he is a realy good spray painter
You can see in the top photos the shed we painted it in
it.s on a frends propert just out side of gimpie QLD i had to use
His shed as i had know where todo the rebuild. Good to have a mate
With a big shed.he is a bit older than me and showed me the
Old ways heat shrinkin/ and led filling the front cone on like origianl ...

Havnt seen many lc/lj's with the minilite style wheels for a while... Well done on the panel work, its come up very well!!

Thanks L.H350 / the paint is pro/tec 2k orange tinter if any one was wondering
i like the non metalic paint pastel finnishers on these old LC/LJ models..?
