Hi all,
im thinking of running a 253 in my lc and i was wondering if anyone makes a mechanicl injection set up to suit a holden block as i wouldnt mind puting a set of stacks on it???? I was planning on running a 305sbc with a hilborn or crower set up but the new laws that are coming in are gonna stop me and ill probly never find a sbc small enough to make it legal. So is there anyone out there that makes anything for holdens????

Thanks Jugs

4637cc so I'm guessing it'd be called a 4.6L I didn't know an SBC was availible that small, I was obviously wrong.

trading post for $150 about 6wks ago, it's the first one I have seen for a 308 in near 20yrs so I bought it. I want to set up efi on it day one, how hard cut it be. I have done a bit of reading about mechanical injection. Some people say you can't use it on the street, because it only works at full throtle. Then I have read it can be done. Any one got a ballpark figure on what it would cost to efi it. Everyone has a carb under the bonnet. I think they look shit hot sticking out of any bonnet

it's not that mechy fuel injection only works at full throttle, it is only tuned correctly at full throttle. watch a doorslammer next time your at the drags, have a good look at the burnout....there not using full throttle are they???
