does anyone know if UC diff assembly will fit a 74 LH????????

NO it won't.
Axles will swap, but housing won't.

ok this is how it goes i have just aquired a commadore diff assy that was fitted to a UC. now problem is that i would like to fit this to my LH but it mounts differently so how do i get around problem?

In short - the existing mounts would need to be repositioned on the diff casing and rewelded to suit the existing mounts on the floorpan of the LH.
