Don't know if this may be connected to my rain induced fuse popping (if you followed that thread).
Almost without fail, everytime I drive at night, the headlights and dashlights will randomly go really bright and the alternator? (battery looking) light will glow. Then it will randomly all go back to normal. Did this about half a dozen times in a 20 minute drive last night.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
LH bright headlights/alternator light glows :huh

I changed alternators and fixed the bodgetech wiring and it seems to be ok now, hasnt boiled the battery or had the bright lights since.
Regulator is the box type thingy on the back of the alternator if it is an external one.

haha, yeah i had that ages ago..
looked heaps good when everything lit up tho.. the lights on the dash ect would light up alot more than normal..
it was my regulator.. replaced that and my problem is now solved.
