i always believe that it comes down to race day, if your car puts out 190hp or what ever, show it on the 1/4 mile.
bhp kw are great figures to boast about but to say your car did the 1/4 in 13.7 is more impressive.

ballpark power figure for 202

Saying your car got x seconds down the quarter mile isn't that impressive either. That has a fair bit to do with diff ratio, availible traction, how much you thrashed it etc.
The only real thing that anyone should be able to boast about is a big fat power curve generated on an engine dyno, as Power at the wheels is relatively inaccurate.
Top hp or kw isn't that relevant either... as hp/kw is primarily a measure of how hard the motor can rev really.
A good motor should be able to perform efficiently throughout the rev range, while maintaining respectable fuel economy and being reliable. An engine dyno is the only device that comes close to getting an accurate reading of that.
Anyway, this is a stupid conversation.

Fuel injection is way better than carby IMO. Better power/drivabiliy/economy/less frustration/easy adjustabiliy.
Start learning EFI now, its not that hard and smash that carby to bits
