I can imagine that would be a very hard thing to pull off. One of the downsides of an expensive paintjob I guess...

It only took 1week to mod make and fit it all up
We had a engineer make the blower pully $ 150
He can run to belts if needed. :spoton:

I am still trying to get a handle on some of your laws over there. Why wouldn't the air cleaner be allowed. I have a mate with a tunnel rammed 308 in his LC and its completely legal. You can still see the road afterall.

What a silly rule.(In my opinion anyway.) A car looks bloody good for instance if you have a tunnel ram, twin carbs and a bug catcher out the bonnet. Whay cover that up.

Would queensland be one of the tougher states to have mods done?

Basically over here you can do anything to a car and have it leaglly on the road as long as it is certified. For example if you transplanted a 454ci BBC into a LC you would have to take it to a certifier who checks that it was done properly, ie the fabricated engine mounts have been welded correctly.

you might want to be careful running that blower at 13,000rpm ... i have heard that anything over 10,000rpm and the teflon coating on the rotors starts to delaminate and eventually will probably pass through the motor!

Yes, it spinning at 2/two 1...and were reving it to 6500rpm we read on the net that any more than 13000 to 14000 tops, Teflon may come off but we havent
Had any prob so far its been on there for 6month now It,s making 8-9psi
The motor is basically stock its got head work big valves posts removed /small cam 35/75 straight cut gear drive . good ignition thats it . bottem end is stock. :D

It would at a guess probably run the 1/4 around a hi 13 two low 14
as i have been in it and it when it smoked a GTO v8 monaro 6 speed 2005mod
and just this weekend we blowed the doors off a VL turbo and it was worked ie big frount mount to4 bleed valves bop off valves and all the crap .
The LJ just walked away essy
I not trying to bowst as there are VL turbos out there that run 10s -11s i know
I am just trying to give yous some ider of how it goes Its a cheap setup and it works  :spoton:
