Hi Folks

I am trying to recall whether LJs had that big clear plastic diaphragm between the door trim and the door. My current car has nothing at the moment.

If I recall correctly they were fitted to my ex-wifes LJ 4 door (ugly damn thing it was) - the wife not the car! :D

Is anyone aware if they can be sourced anywhere - if they are required?

Thanks

Bazza

The early holdens ran a canvas fabric in the door covers. There was no plastic which covered the doors like the newer holdens have (namely commodores.)

If you go to spotlight and crab a material you can reapply this to water proof your door. Just make sure you do not use a glue to stiffen the fabric which is water solubale.. ;)

Cheers
