just a update on targa there is 5 toranas in top 20 in the classic section 4th,5th 7th 11th,and20th on day one of racing

the night stage last night was awesome! they have a ford V holden showdown between 8 cars i think and christ they put on a show!

A couple of local blokes, one in a black SLR with upwards of 600 horses and the other in a yellow hatch with the same amount of grunt went absolutely nuts,
threw the cars round and did a fair few donuts for the huge crowd :rockon:

was a great night out :spoton:

I got to meet him in 96 when he did the first one, we ran a car for the Air Force that year

Hey Red was that the Light Blue Datsun 260Z? If it was... I thought about joining that crew and they were asking me heaps of questions about my Rally Datsun 1600 at the time (back in my Rally days), from memory a FLGOFF from ARDU was the Navigator? I was at ARDU at the time. I couldn't really be spared from work so I didn't really get involved... That FlgOff had some weird ideas... he even turned up to work with little bits of thread taped all over his road car, checking wind direction etc as it flowed over the car... man he got some stick from that.

Was a very nice show last night,O'keefes black slr sounded absolutly mad.Sent shivers down my spine.My 2 year old son has been talkin bout the black rana all day.

Wasnt this a SLR5000? It was for sale in TAS a few months ago, the add was something along the lines of SLR5000 upgraded to A9X specs??? Nice car either way. Ohh also nice pics, keep 'em coming :spoton:

And Rory when the challengers are on our cars they'll look really good, those other cars look like there running 8's our we'll be 10's front and rear....sic mate

i am pretty sure this one is a real A9X I have seen pics of it previously up on a hoist and its a Brissie car ... I am sure SSL31 knows a little about it.

By the way whats the colour name of the yellow sedan above 2 posts up ^. I remember seeing an A9X (Style) Hatch done in that colour years ago, looked great.
