Another option to consider is replacing the LX upper arm mounts with the upper arm mounts from a UC and use the standard UC arms.

The give quite a bit of adjustment to play with. I had to press the bushes in the ends myself though as these were only given in a packet.
I bought em cos i wasnt happy with the angle my nine inch was sitting at, and still want to adjust them a little more on a hoist.

I can weight my McDonald Bros arms with super pro bushes tonight. I do not have a standard set of arms to weigh.i wonder how much they weigh, comparing to standard arms, im putting my UC on a diet, but i want it to be (mostly) street legal. any one know the weight of standard arms and the McDonald Bros trailing arms, both uppers and lowers?

The McDonald Bros arms will be heavier than the standard arms, particularly the uppers.

They look very similar to the McDonald Bros ones but are much cheaper.

I bought some adjustable upper trailing arms and tubular lowers from Rod Tech here in Adelaide.
They look very similar to the McDonald Bros ones but are much cheaper.
Have you got a website for rod tech.

I would expect a steel tube to be stronger than a plated pressed arm if they both had the same quality steel and weighed the same.
