in relation to the new machine, i would strongly suggest the "cebora 196 stag" is basically the cheapest machine but still very good quality to take the 15kg spool. The machine its self is around $1000 and then you need a torth, either 3 or 4 meter(binzel brand is what i deal with) then other bits like regs and so on, from memory i can do it for about $1350 inc gst.
In relation to the 5kg spool i cant remember price but i'm pretty sure i can do shit loads better than that mate. Will get back to you tomorrow with a price for sure.

sounds good thanks, even if i buy a 15kg spool i can always wind that onto a smaller one.

i sell the mig wire (0.9mm) 15kg spool at 33 bucks inc gst. The other thing with the 15kg rolls are that they are layer wound so you dont get any knots and the wire comes off a lot better. when you roll it on any which way it can cross and knot its self and this causes a shit weld when you wire stops starts stops starts and so on.

fair enough, let me know the prices of the 5kg gasless .8 rolls and ill probably buy 1 or 2 off you

sorry i have not been around for a few days, been mega busy, i can do the rolls for around 40bucks its comes in 4.5kg, take ya pick of brand its all the same price!!!
