need help new to the torana scene

gday guys im new to this whole torana scene i have an lc torana that i am restoring ..when i bought it they had put a vk or vc 4 speed floor shift in it and it has now steering colum what can i get for it..
it cant be a colum shift cause i now have a floor shifter..any help wil be muchly appreciated guys i dont know what to do

Whats your exact problem?

You have a column shift steering column but a 4 on the floor and you want to know if you can change it back??

no the problem is tht i need a steering colum..i dont have one ....
i dont waant to change back to cloum shift because i have a floor shit so wht colum can i use

You can use your column shift column. You just have to "tidy up" where the old stick used to come out to make it look like a floor shift column. Or replace the "honey pot" (the bit the gearshift comes out of) with a floor shift honey pot.

yeah i have to get a whole new steering clum as i dont have one at all...so wht car can i get one off..

Someone on here may have a column (ask in the 'wanted' section of the forums using the template) or you can try a holden wreckers or eBay - Remember LC columns are different to LJ - one has the ignition switch (LJ) and also a different steering shaft spline....
