G'day, we have fitted an Opel to my oldmans LC and cant work out how the shifter and linkages mount. I think the problem is that our shifter and linkages are from a HK munro and I am assuming the they would be different for an LC. does anyone have some pictures of LC shifter and linkages, preferably attached to the box.
cheers
Makka

This is about the best photo I have. You may have to grab a workshop manual to get the full details. The Torana shifter was very different from all the other Opel shifters. Not sure, but I think Holdent in Melbourne may have some.

There were a few different shifters. The Monaro one that mounted on the floor as you say, the Torana version, and then there was another version that mounted on the extension housing that was used in the HR (and I think the later commercial cars as well). That is also very different from the Torana shifter.

Did you buy/sell that box a few months ago on e-bay? That pic looks familiar.

I save photos from ebay when they interest me.
