Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the LX Hatch Auto Console and the LX Hatch Manual Console?

The insert around the stick is the only difference.

Posted ImageThanks, I thought that might be the case. I assume you could just remove the auto indicator & get a boot made up to suit? I reckon thats what has been done to the butchered console I have.

Hey, that's not a bad custom console job!

Is the original escutcheon panel below the smooth insert?
Or is just the end bit left over, where it joins the console?

Sorry for the 20 Q's but do you have air-con? or just the air-con vents?

Nice lookin' interior. Different.

Cheers, Leakey

Nah, the escutcheon panel is gone, the top rail which is hidden by the cover is broken & the console is broken in 2. Wanna buy it??
No air con in real cars....
The console has been modified on the L/H side to make room for the shifter levers, Muncie box I think.

Photos do amazing things.

The interior is all but stipped out now, engine & box tomorrow, off to The Old Car Garage for panel & paint. Maybe a 355 stroker if the budget works..
