Holden Torana Club will be holding their 2nd display at this event.

Great Location, swap meet, trash and treasure, food vendors, show & shine (with trophies)

Last year I booked a cabin at the caravan park, cabin has beds for 6. I will be booking one again for the Sat and sund nites so if anyone wants to share with hubby and me let me know.

You organising a cruise (all travel together) up there for this one Kaz?
Will think about bringing the Hatchery out for a drive. Won't stay overnight thou.

Was this not Rubies last show before being taken off the road last year?

Once I get some feedback as to who is coming I will organise the cruise up.

Last year I think most met at servo at bolivar (pt Wakefield rd).

I boked a cabin yesterday, so I will be going up in RUBY :clap:

on the sat.

Last year was Rubys birthday party. She came off the road in Nov.

Meeting point for cruise up to Kadina on Sund 10th > Caltex servo Port Wakefield Rd, Bolivar. ( the servo opposite the BP that is on the cnr of Bolivar and Pt Wakefield Rds)

I dont remember what time they met last year, anyone remember??

At least the roadwork should :rolleyes:

Has a meeting time at Caltex Bolivar been picked yet Kaz?
The Hatchery or only myself will come for a drive as far as Pt Waikfield and get some shots at the start and maybe some video on the way up.

How did the Show & Shine go? Has anyone got any photos. Kaz..... did Ruby make it...any pics. Weather should have been good.

show went great :rockon:

About 70 cars this year on the oval, weather was spot on even sunny at times.

Dean Pankhurst took home the trophy for Best pre 1975.

Anyways I took pics on my phone same crap quality as usual.

There is huge potential now with it being on the oval. It is owned by the trotting guys, but they dont use it anymore not even for practice.

I volunteered myself to co-ordinate 2008 afternoon activities and prizes.
things like 3 legged race, egg and spoon race, car olympics (tyre change, carry a wheel etc)

I dragged Selina and Daryls 2 girls up for a 3 legged race and It was soooooooo funny. One guy even offered to phone the ambulance in advance.

Thanks Kaz. The event looks better than last year. What were the crowd numbers like? Was Ruby in the photos ?
Hopefully I won't miss next years event through work.

ruby didnt make it as Hubby and I both got hit with the flu.

Elsie got to go tho :clap:

Crowd was great due to weather.

Next year will be fun.

Do u remember how much last year dragged from about 12 till trophy presentation, that wont be a prob next year.

Wicked day at Kadina show n shine... sorry more of you didnt come along. Hopefully you make it next year even if its just to compete with me and Kaz in the afternoon "make a fool of yourself games"...LOL. Even the big kids can have fun
