Cut and Polish new paint?

gday all,

I've just spent the last couple of days removing the front windscreen, treating rust, painting and sanding, and am just waiting for the top coat to dry now before replacing the windscreen.

My question is, what should i use to cut and polish the new paint?

Its just out of a spray can, but it looks heaps different in texture (probably because it came from a can instead of a gun) than the other paint. What can i do to make it look more like the other paint?

do'nt use a silicone based polish for atleast a month. just buff it with something like sepatones mr buff for now.
