Sound Deadener/Body Sealer removal

I'm after something that will remove it quickly and easily. If paint comes off as well, so be it.

I think its heat for that stuff....kero or petrol to clean up.

You mean the stuff they put on the under carridge? I found a brass wheel on my angle grinder is by far the best option. Takes it back to metal without scratching the crap out of it or excessive heat.

Before that I was spraying it down with prepsol and scrapping it off with an asortment of tools depending how thick and where the gunk was. But the wheel is 10x more effective and quicker.

Just wipe the surface down with prepsol after the brush and paint.

100 MM or 230 MM grinder? I have both. I also have some acetone, would that do to wipe up after?

I've been using a 100mm grinder. Someone here was saying that thinners works better than prepsol, so I guess so. As long as it wont leave anything the paint wont like. You'd be suprised how much crap wipes off onto the rag even when it apears to be in bare metal.
