We ended up moving and there was only room for 1 car to be moved,so it had to go,mum nicely sold that for me.

Do I read I bit of a grudge in that comment? ^^^^

I love Terrie as a name for the car. Isn't it funny how people refer to their car as he or she. Mine's a she and has never really had a name that has stuck she used to get called Granpa Brown, then the beast, lots of people just call it the BRIGHT Torana and now days we just seem to say the Torana. Oh and of course as you mentioned from time to time cars play up and then she gets called all sorts of unmentionable names.

No i didnt mind that it was sold!!! Probably would still be as a rolling shell now if i didnt sell it then and that was mmm little over 3 yrs now right mother?

As for the car name. I always change it between a he and a she......when everything is going wrong its for sure a he. :spoton:

Yes about 3 years. If we hadnt of moved, the LH would have had work done to it. And then sat til Daf could afford to pay for things I couldnt do

And there was only room for 2 cars to be moved, my sedan considering it was the daily driver, and the hatch, well, it's worth more than the LH so it goes where I go LOL

I have to fully agree...every time ANYTHING goes wrong with ANYTHING it instantly becomes a he!! Like the saying goes...God created man...then he had a better idea... :tease:

hubby came down all sad sack from the shed last night after getting the Torana out for me he decided he was missing the HR and would give her a run but she won't go and hasn't even been parked up as long as the Torana was Hah

Hah.

Don't get me wrong love the HR and all that just find it funny that mine's going, his isn't and he's a mechanic to boot.

The Silent Treatment..

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each
Other the silent treatment.

Suddenly, the man realized that the next day,
He would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.

Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper,
"Please wake me at 5:00 AM "

He left it where he knew she would find it.

The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM
And he had missed his flight.
