O.K just wondering if there are any other female Torana owners that are members of this site or am I the token one? I know male v's female owners males are the majority but there has got to be some other girls out there somewhere that are hooked on Torana's. If so what have you got and why do you love them?

it doesnt work Heath, i had a whole wanted thread about a torana loving female, but nothing ever came from it. shame really :tease:

now i just setlle for those that like shopping. there are more of them and they go out more and leave me time to play toranas.

OrangeLJ and Heath in response to your request for a Torana loving girl times must have changed as 10 years ago when I was in high school all the girls (the ones I hung around with anyway) were chasing the boys that had hot cars especially Torana's. Hate to break it to you though it was more because if they had a decent car they were more than likely older so they had their licence and could transport us around. Having said that 2 of my ex's had Torana's and I didn't hook up with either of them for transport purposes. I found a both halves of the couple being Torana fans made a good combo - we read the same mags, I never bitched at him for working on the car (used to help instead) and we could day dream together about one day owning the perfect Torana.
I have noticed though looking through the forum you guys have posts pretty much everywhere so maybe times haven't changed maybe you guys just need to get out more (no offence).

Hi TOrana love your miss 350 sticker. Looking at your pics it seems you have a UC which I will be upfront and tell you isn't my fav Torana but it's a hatch and a 350 so in that aspect I am jelous. I wanted a V8 bad when I was car hunting but my folks didn't consider it a sensible car choice for a 16yo girl. They were so intent on me not having a Torana (or mainly mummsy was dad has a soft spot for old Holden's having had a Monaro) that they fully funded the purchase of a Feroza to bribe me off the whole idea. Didn't work I stood my ground, saved my cash, brought the my LH and mummsy is driving the Feroza! :tease:

Touchy Touchy. Didn't mean to hit a nerve just pointing out your more likely to find a torana girl if your out in your torana and the comment wasn't just for you but both you guys that looked like you were trying to turn my thread into a pick up spot but being as you point out you have a girl friend I must have read your post from a female point of view.

I agree it is easy to kill time on here. By the way nice car assuming it is yours in the pic.

and surprisingly i never managed to pick up when i was out in the torana, tried but failed, but when im out in my bommadore i seem to get more action! whats with that! maybe the torana scared them off? meh women, i dont understand em, but i hear someone was selling a parts manual? that might help :tease:

all the girls that posted in that thread b4 dont come round much anymore. maybe the man factor became too much for them :tease:

You sure would have seen her in Lonnie she was my daily driver for years after I had her sprayed and got parked when we moved too far to make commuting in her affordable. You from Lonnie area? What's your car? PM me your msn if you have one so we can chat.
