Does anyone now if the xu1 rat trap was any different then say a standard Lc or Lj.

I have found my original rat trap of my 71 bathurst and it looks to be different then a standard one's. The v section looks thicker and a little wider will post pics soon.

There was a mod in 1971 as an ugrade..thicker arm/a plate and pin area..you have got that one..they are all the same otherwise.

Mine is exactly as you describe so anything after 71 is the thicker type.

No..it was a dealer refit if it broke..very sneaky!..and available over the counter as a part

Hi Rorym,the hg holdens 3 on the tree had the same rat traps as the toranas,the part that holds the cable from the clutch pedal,is double the thickness than a ordinary LC or LJ,and its more stronger than the torana part,cheers.
