Gday, how are we all?
I am currently bidding on GTS steering wheels on eBay, as i have decided pay the price they are now, coz they are only going to get more pricey....

Anyways, there is two types of horn caps as far as i can gather, one which is blank, and one which says "GTS" on it..

Which ones came with A9X toranas? Im presuming it wasnt the GTS ones? But wanted to make sure

Cheers

as far as I know wheels with gts and slr logo are after market ones. original slr ss and a9x etc had plain horn caps.

I'm no originality king, but I'm pretty sure the same wheel was used on LJ GTR's, HQ-Z GTS's, HQ SS's, LH/X SL/R's and SS's.

The GTR's had a GTR badge on the cap, HQ SS's had an SS badge, GTS's had a GTS badge, and all of the rest were blank.

AFAIK

And then there is a difference in the thickness of the spokes.

Hi

No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong - but I seem to recall that they went down from 5mm to 3mm.

That was around HZ etc after the A9X.

The later wheels and the repro ones too have the thinner spokes. Its to do with a change in ADR's and how much damage you can do to yourself on one of the original thick spoke ones as they don't give too much when you hit them with your face in a stack.
