Hey was checking the VIN # disc this morning for a mate & came across
a LJ 4dr Deluxe 4cyl that had a P code engine listed instead of the 1600cc
shown in the Service Option Code! Looked further & found a GTR with a
P engine code listed but a 76203C0 Service Option Code.
Are these just typo errors?
I know our warranty clerk gets snowed under at the end of the month
entering recalls & warranty work & 1st sevices into the system with todays computers, dont know how they were recorded back in the 70s but would
suspect they'd be all done manually.
Check em out, PSN numbers are- L246514 & L247636
Whadya reckon? Probably others but havnt checked.

yeah theres alot off typos theres XU1s with L and anther XU1 with B engine

I had a quick look at those - looks like Monday morningitis.
The engine number P364712 appears against L246514 and again against L246534 on 15/7/03.
P373383 appears against L247636 (a GTR). I can't find a duplication of the P number but significantly the number before it (382) is a GTR with an L and the number after it (384)
is also a GTR with an L.
