torana information

Hello everyone. I was just wanting to know is there somone on here that could tell me some information about a torana (using vin, engine, paint, etc.) or if there is a site that i can look at to check that infomation. If there is someone i will be happy to send the codes.

LH8VD69 is an LH SL/R

L31 is a 308
M21 is the 4 speed manual
GU7 is a 2.78 diff ratio
PAINT 568/15951 is Cotillion White

Hi Guys.

Which means it's originally an LH SL/R 5000 (4-speed) painted Cotillion White & has Black Vinyl interior trim. The VIN also says it was produced between 1/9/74 & 31/8/75.

I thought Collition white was only on LX toranas, not LH's. Im probably wrong though

Thanks for that! The car is back to metal it was painted red but the floor was white inside so it looks like this one is going to be restored back to original.

Would like to see some pictures if you have. What build date is on compliance plate? I would take a guess & say between Nov/74 & Feb/75.

Theres also a good chance that is the original motor, if you contact Holden on 1800 033 349 give them your VIN they will send you a letter veryfing car & ask them to supply engine number within letter.

ok cheers for that! i'll check it out. the build date is 11/74. there are no pictures yet of the car but i will have to take some soon.
