Black car looks tuff, blu car looks well I don't rate it, waste of a good car lets see him get 30k for it on the second hand market!! rgds Sunburst

What if I was to tell you the black car was a genuine XU1 hahahaha, personally i think it looked terrible and i owned it but it was just a race car.

but same principle, that you compensate for the torque steer by making one side stiffer or higher/lower then the other.
the only thing the same is there air.

its called pre-loading. you can also do it with a longer or stiffer spring on the one side.

your right you can achieve a similar thing with a stiffer or longer spring, but your car will sit higher on one side permanently, and not handle as well on the street,
I'd just rather hit the switch.

Good I wasn't the only one that didn't like the black one. My opinion can't be as left of field as I thought if the owner himself didn't like it.

I think I read somewhere here you are changing the colour of the LC what colour is it going??? Or is that something you don't want to reveal. I thought that blue was a good looking colour. So is there a reason you aren't forthcoming with some recent pics?

As some of the others have mentioned thanks for turning off that darn caps lock. I'm glad it wasn't just me that it was bugging.

so i'm changing the colour this time around looking at a bmw colour which is like a dark greenish brown metalic kinda an ugly colour but it could look really awesome at the same time. something diferent anyway.

as for the pics well i didn't even want to let these ones out lol. and there are too many critics on here lol. and i don't want to give too many new ideas away just yet lol.

I am understanding your view on changing the colour if it was already shown previously that colour. The blue is still nice though but I'm always biast towards blue.

In regards to the pics getting out I am pretty sure you can set it so your pics on my space can't be copied (in the settings it said something like disable photo sharing) mind you there would always be some cleaver type that would find a way around that if they wanted. I added you on there in case you didn't make the connection when you accepted it.

I bet you'll give in and post the pics everyone will kepp nagging and yeah there will be critics but hey as has been said before it's only there opinion and only words on a screen so you can just ignore what ever you don't agree with or as often happens on here start a tiff over it. I can understand not wanting to give away ideas but I am constantly blown away by the knowledge on here so they might even be helpful.

I hate to say it.. but if your building such a wild show car... DONT put up pics!! When you get it out to the shows you'll knock everyone dead!

As much as thats true.. would be unreal to see the progress! Take lots to show us AFTER it's debut!

Sorry if we're all not made of enough money to afford custom 19" and 20" wheels. As for all of my '13 inch wheel buddies', my LJ's only got 13's on it because I'm still looking for 15's.

heath: There's been quite a few comments that have been "let ride" in this thread. I just hope that ALL of the people who have said them can back it off a notch or two and just let it idle for a little while rather than getting their heckles up and letting fly with the childish name calling etc.

I was just pissed off because I was targeted for absolutely no reason! I make a couple of perfectly decent suggestions, and get flamed for it?

To have new guys coming here and hanging shit on the more seasoned forumers (I realise that I'm far from a veteran around here, but I think I've been a member long enough to have some idea), just doesn't make sense to me.

NSS308, sorry for calling you a dickhead, but seriously. I didn't provoke anyone at all, and copped it anyway.

Personaly, I think maybe this thread should have been locked already. Once the personal attacks start, they never seem to stop.

I think a lot of us spoke our minds before the owner of the car joined the thread. I wouldn't have posted a thread like i did, if i had any idea the owner was going to read it.

As the saying goes if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything. Orbetter yet, if you don't have anything nice to say, start looking for something nice to say (don't make it up) and say it.

I did like the colour on the GTR. :spoton:
