Looks real good mate. I'm personally not a fan of the scoop either but it might be because its not the car colour. A small cowl scoop would be my choice. :spoton:

^ Agreed, but that's still tough as. I love it. Interesting colour combo too

Front runners set it off, and the head rests in the back are a nice touch!

Had no choice in colour picked up car painted
Had to cover air cleaner with something A9X scoop would not suit the look i was after Hornet scoops look cool but everyones got one. Will look better when it gets painted.
I luv the front runners to but the cops dont so its normaly runs 7"s
Exhaust is next thing on the list when i get some money as funds have run out

yeah man nice diff colour, the scoop will look better when it is painted. think it would look a bit more at home if you had a front poiler and a rear bob tail spoiler.

keep the pis coming, how is she to drive??? nice take up with the 4:11 id be thinking.

door handles done the same as the bumper would look great, I THINK it needs the color on the side to be broken up a bit...

Dont no a lot about history of car owner moved to WA from NSW & died over a year ago.(apparently it was in the top 80 summernats in '96)

Car had been left sitting in caravan park and was very rough So far i have changed heads from L34 to VN with crane 286 cam, I have a shit exhaust in there at the moment but have plans on fitting a twin 2.5" system, I have a fuel cell and 1/2" lines to be fitted. New door trims inbound and Aluminium scuff plates soon(ish).......

Gotta rebuild Gear box with a bigger converter (f*ck this thing is never gonna be finished now that I look at it) Short term that's about it, but, I have an EVIL scheme to build a stroker, solid cam and, what the hell direct port her too !!

Dosen't seem like a lot of work here, but it's been a tough slog, 2 - 3 months and about $6ooo.00 later.... with about another $10 - 12,000 to spend....

You have a pretty good starting platform, atleast you don't have to worry about getting it painted! I think anyone would be pretty happy with a good quality car for under 20K

I think I MAY have found some history on the car...

Then again, maybe not... Does anybody remember a car, very similar in colour to [MUMBO], with plates [JRNLH2]?

The latter had an EFI 304 though, and I'm not exactly sure why you'd get rid of that.

I'll scan some pics if interested.

It had L34 heads not VN engine was purple and it had fake mechanical injection stacks through bonnet

Yes, but I don't think it's the same car. The colour of this thing seems to change in every photo I have of it.

I don't think it's the car. But an Eastside Cruiser's Member might be able to remember whether this beast is still owned by the bloke I've seen in it, or whether it has been sold and modified further...

Posted Image

But I know that even until recently, this thing didn't have a purple motor or bonnet hinges... I suspect it might be a different car again.

I can see a bit of a trend here, its just that LX 4 door owners like to paint their cars pink! :tease:

Rims are 15/8 have not checked offset, guards are STD just has a nice short 9"
It has small tyres on back from when i got it licenced 225/60/15 but will fit 245/60/15 easy. That doesnt sound big but the 1st thing anyone asks is,is it tubbed

^ It's because you have the front runners ;)

BTW I found out that the Eastside Cruiser's pink sedan has not been sold. So this is definately another car again :P
