All the usual dramers crank and one rod were stuffed (i wish i had $ for 355 crank) Dany at perfomance mods had old one just cost me for machine work regrind ballance.
Will asemble bottom end over weekend dont have heads back yet the valve springs were wrong should get heads back tuesday.
While engine is out i have fitted new steerig cupling, had to wrap extractors next to it so it would not melt.
Still have to fit new fuel pump and half inch lines fingers crost no more probs should have it running by next weekend

Had engine going for about a week now have been having lots of small problems.
Thermo fan would not work had to rewire when doing so found hidden fuse
Leads braking down when hot should have replaced anyway
Cant put on dyno yet diff angle is wrong may break tailshaft adjustable arms on way
Engine does not want to idle when hot checked vac at idle changed power valve in carby seems better
Last nite after playing with timing and carby go for quick spin around the block changed into second BANG broken front uni
I think the only thing i have not replaced in this car is the paint and thats not realy my colour
I just hope to get everything sorted before baby gets here because then there will be no money

Good on ya for getting her back on the road mate. I saw it that night at sizzlers a while back, sounded great then.

Your right, Darren needs to get some shots of his beast up as well.

How long until Mumbo hits the strip?

Head up pal you're doing a good job. Every vehicle needs its problems ironed out, unfortunately you had a costly session of that but sometimes you win sometimes you lose. It's all together now - appreciate it :)

After i got it back together on weekend went to drive it to the bank car stald in driveway.
I checked and it had no spark had a look at wireing looks like birds nest pushed back in shed.
Last nite fitted new electronic modual in dizzy bang started 1st kick but sounds like i have 2 plug leads crost had a quick look shut shed & went back in side.
Will have a look tomorow nite maybe.
On another note have 1st superbike race for the year this weekend hope i have better luck with that

Nice skid :) Ohhhh boy do i miss mine. Mines almost painted so once its done the fun begins.

Shame about things braking but hey it happens. Its a good excuse to sink a few cold ones.

Good luck in the race. I might pop in one day next week and catch up and say hello. :)
