To answer a few questions.
*Redband cross plys are available in both 14" and 15" in a Firestone.
*We can supply am American Racer stret legal tyre in both a 215/60B13 and 235/60B13, bias ply not radial
*15" sizes could be to come, at present the demand for these has not been great enough to justify building a new mould
* the old TA pattern has been chosen as it is a period tread design and not modern looking. There is always the possibilty of building a 13" cross ply redline but through our research the radial if by far the more desired construction
Keep the questions coming and I will keep the info on the progress up to date.

You serious??? A major mistake in my opinion.* the old TA pattern has been chosen as it is a period tread design and not modern looking.

I haven't seen them for along time.
The next best (i still have 2 old ones) were the michelin 185/70/13 mxl tyres, nice foot print for a narrow tyre and looked wider than any other of the same size.

HiYes correct LC & LJ GTR but not XU-1
Some time ago I was told by someone who should know, that no XU-1 ever left the factory with redwall tyres. I didn't know whether to believe him or not - given that there are so many XU-1s getting around with them fitted these days.
Extract from Modern Motor Nov '70
" We found the XU-1 an oversteerer on the stock 5 1/2" B70H-13 Dunlop Sovereign tyres........"

BF Goodrich 185/70R13 Redlines are being put into production now and we are expecting to see the first2 run early in the new year. Pricing on these has come in at $275.00ea. Factory built 3/8" redline.
Wide 14" tyres in the 245/50R14 and 265/50R14 are not going to be too far behind these. the tyres will be called an American Classic using an old American General tread pattern. Price on these two sizes will be just over $300ea.
Another odd one that me be of interest is a 255/45ZR15, can get these in a Michelin on speical order.
Do have a good stock on the 235/60B13 American Racers. From the reports we are hearing back these are wearing quite well.
