Hi there,
A friend of ours looked up our vehicle PSN number on some sort of a database which came up with a BETSBAC code.
Does anyone know where i can find out what the options were for this vehicle, at the moment, the numbers dont mean much. I could guess what they mean, but some confirmation would be nice. Is there a book somewhere or a website that anyone knows of?
Any help would be appreciated.

post the numbers you have, all 3 tags and those with vin disk will decypher

I think i might have the vin disk too but it only has lh - lx info for the codes.
The relevant line is
2.1.70 / T / LC / 82911 / J206450 / no eng # / 34203C0 / 0 /02.70 / 000 / 3
I know its an LC GTR, J2 is Melb, but the rest is a mystery.
I would appreciate any assistance.

the 3420300 is fixed options for GTR as you know
dates are manufacture and sale
only other selection is colour inside and out, these are on the ID which should be on passenger side of rad support
model 82911
body
trim
paint
the trim and paint numbers will give these colours,post them and some one can tell you

Its the 340... number that i am after. I have worked out the rest from that 'by the numbers' article which is fantastic! We have an LC GTR Daytona Bronze with Black vinyl trim.
So are you saying that the METSBAC number is the Standard options for GTR?? M - manual
E - Engine 2600S
T - Transmission ( 4 Speed)
S - Suspension?
B - Body
A - Axle
C - Air Con.
I downloaded this program off the internet which you type in the code for any old holden and it tells you what it is, so that filled in the rest of the gaps, although because these are single numbers there were too many to go thru to work this last bit out.
