what is involved in installing one of these....

alright guys, i dont actually know wat the correct term for this item is (heard of it called an air dam) anyway i was wondering wats involved in fitting it to an LJ? is it as simple as bolting it straight on? or is it more involved? thanks in advance guys

You need a stone tray fitted and four bolts! Look at other xu1's for exact placement (need to watch those gutters if you fit it though - they have a habit of gettng dented on steep driveways or edges of the gutter!)

Yes very ezy to fit, the hard thing is the placement, if you do not have an XU-1 that has the holes already drilled into the stone tray.

ok, thats some good advice there. and no i just have an S model so i'll have to have a look into that placement issue.

mine came with it already on =D

if you get one on, make sure you dont buy springs or shocks that lower your car cause it does get pretty close to the ground.
