Probably a stupid question, but -

How are springs finished (paint etc)? I assume that powder coating would crack... Are they just painted? If so, how are they painted?

Maybe check ebay for some NOS Spring Paint. Bound to be some for under a grand. :D Just grab some export brand enamel from supa cheap ot the wharehouse.

from the look of my new lovells and the thickness of the coating i would say powder coated

just make sure you get all the old shit and road grime off them.... Or else the paint wont stick
