Hello all, a quick query...

Will the (Rear) UC sedan shocks fit an LX hatch?
I know the UC has a different diff area but are the rear shocks compatible with an LX hatch?

Cheers :D

Shocks and springs are the same.

Thanks for that CHOPPER, I have found some air shocks (the ones with the tyre valve) but they were on a UC and I have stuff all clearance between my 265's and flared rear quarters on the hatch!

I put the rear air shocks in today - big difference!
Went from 15mm clearance to about 2 inches clear (max). Now I need to make them adjustable while on the move!

Buy your self a 12V air compressor and you have your answer.

I looked at one site and basically all I need is a check valve (one way valve), momentary switch for the compressor, A gauge to monitor pressure and they used an oil light sender (I guess to cut off power to the compressor once it reaches the psi of the sender) and a 'handle controlled valve' so I can drop the air in one hit... I will need a better compressor than those $10 ones a repco I think! I've seen some at around $60 that look up to the task.

Obviously you have looked into it a lot more than what I have.

I just did a google search for images! I know it's probably not a necessary item in a torana but since it can be done for under $200, I thought why not! :D

So is this something you need to do, or something you want to do?

sounds good, so a 12v compressor is hooked up through a switch then into the valve so you can go up when ever you want?
i put 90psi in pump ups, they go high, well these did
<_<

The blue pump up shockers are the factory ones. The max. pressure for those is 90 PSI. There are other aftermarket ones that are rated higher.

So is this something you need to do, or something you want to do?

If I had to do a roadworthy it wouldn't pass with the 265's (and the little amount of clearance they had) but yeah, it was mainly something that I wanted to do, I like gadgets!
