Hi guys, could anybody tell me what benifits I would gain from
tossing the single barrel Strommy off of my (semi stock)202 red
in favour of the twin barrel and 186S manafold I have hanging on the wall in my shed.
She is a 77 LX with extractors,2 and 1/4 stainless(with one midmounted
silencer) and electric dizzy does anybody have an idea of HP gains and of course
the amount of extra fuel my baby would drink. I live in Bundaberg ATM fuel
is at $1.14/Lt <_<

If you can find the horse power specs for stock 186 and 186'S (HR HK HT HG) that will give you some idea. As you already have extractors it wont be accurate. Maybe if you went to an exhaust site you might find the specs for horse power increase. I couldn't see the dizzy making a huge difference with what you have. I had a quick look on google, maybe you have more time.

$1.14!!! Thats Cheap! lucky u!
I believe that you will notice the power increase, no idea how much, but in comparison when i put the 4 barrel on my 253 as opposed to the twin i noticed a Massive Difference, the car gets a lot more top end!

you will get a bit more torque, the car will be smoother and more driveable and it won't chew any more petrol if you do'nt keep it flat.
