Knowing when to break on the main straight put me to the test and yes, the wiggles are a lot of fun. So to speak

Yep, down through the wiggles and the end of the front straight braking is where I reckon my time could drop. As Rory said its gaining the confidence to brake later and harder.

Saw a car on a trailer heading up the Freeway to the airport this morning. Figured it may be one of the Dutton's competitors, but never got close enough to see which car.

If it's still the same as when I entered, you'll get some really good shots of your car in action out of it as well.

I cannot help it. continuing to grin like a big fat spider. I actually came in in front of a 430 Ferrari. Now there's a claim to fame. And I knocked off the major falcon in the field - an XR8.

5th in Class. Don't like what our cars have to compete against in the Class rules, but so long as you had fun, doesn't really matter, you still had the classiest car on the day!!!!

1994 Nissan Sil80
2006 HSV Clubsport
1992 Nissan R32
2006 Ford Mustang Saleen
1970 Holden Torana
1992 Toyota Soarer
1999 Ford XR8

My overall impression of the event was that it was also designed to suit the smaller CC late model Japanese cars. At least you had better than road tyres on, intermediates also appear to be the go at this event.

Good one. Maybe you'd do better with a co-driver? (Only jokes) So long as you had fun, that's what it's all about.

Let us all now when they air the vid on tele, I'd like to have a look at how much press you got, although I got the distinct impression that it's more about the rice burners and exotics. I think 2TOUGH's son went in last years NSW event.

It is on air on 30th September, they tell me and then again on foxtel on a date to be advised. They did a very long filming segment on Saggy Sally and I. At winton, they mounted 2 x cameras in the car - one facing me and one out the screen - and filmed my two hot laps at Winton. Then they did a long interview with me about the car, took a heap of still shots and did a few other things. That will probably end up being about 20 seconds on the tele.
