yeh your right...built in 77 and first registered in 78...but wouldn't have a clue on the location it was built..thanks for the extra info on the car!!

keaton: I believe it is stamped on the left hand side next to the radiator, might be hidden under oil, dirt, or dust.

That would be the drivers side near the pollution canister on the rail. stand just behind the bumer next to the drivers guard, look down at the rail, you should see it close to the radiator reading left to right from where you stand
