hi again guys sorry about all the Questions but I am trying to get as much stuff for my UC while I am in the States as possable.
I am guessing if I use stronger spring I will be able to get a bit higher RPM, is it worth it or will it help on a 186?
Anyway I was wondering if any one out there could tell me what the coil bind and the spring rate is for the springs on a red 186. I am try to work out if I can buy some S/B chev D/valve that will fit, or even just stronger reg springs
looking back I should have taken an owers manual with me, but you live and learn

Buy a set of Chev LT1 springs, any brand, should be easy to get (if anything they will be overkill but you could always sell them when you get home).

Just get springs to suit the intended cam and rocker ratio.

US $130 is far too much, you can get AUS $ 80 sets here. Ask for a cheaper brand, ie Speed Pro or Pioneer.
Check these out.... http://www.jegs.com/...rchItemId=91663
US $36 is closer to the mark, and they are made by Crane.
