vz suspension

Can anybody shed some light as to how envolved it is to replace the front and rear springs of a vz holden ute.Could you also let me know what special tools you might need like a set of spring compressors and genaral tools.
This is to lower the ute

Rears are easy as you can use the weight if the car to compress the springs.
Front you will need spring compressors and maybe a rattle gun to undo the big nut at the top of the strut.

Get a suspension place to do it...1/4 the time and no skinned knuckles.

That might be O.K if they are fitting their kit.
(It surprises me how they offer specials including fitting)
But roll up with a box of springs and shocks and it will be a different story.

piece of piss u just need a set of coil spring compressors take the front struts out put in a vice compress the spring undo the big nut replace spring compress again do big nut up havent done rears but my m8s vq stato u can just pull the springs out wen its on the hoist but thats lowerd if u lower the rear arm u should be rite

the rears are easy just unbolt the shock and possibly the swaybar link(depends if base, sv6 or ss) and use a jack to compress. dont forget to put some camber/toe adjusting bushes in your control arms or you'll be forever replacing scrubbed out tyres .

dont forget to put some camber/toe adjusting bushes in your control arms or you'll be forever replacing scrubbed out tyres .

The whole car should be aligned as lowering the front will alter the toe-in/out.

Yeah make sure you get a camber kit.

Heres a shot of mine.
It was brought lowered like it is so im not 100% sure of what its had done to it, but I know there King Springs, Super Lows i think.
