just curios has anyone changed the colour of or tried to? my globe or globes have faded and need replacing and wouldnt mind bit of colour behind it spice things up at little

anyone got pics or any info on how to

There's lots of ways to change the illumination colour....

1) Coloured silicone sleves that go over the top of the original globes from repco/autobarn etc.

2) Coloured plastic jackets that slide over the top of the original globes (from jaycar),

3) CCFL or neon tubes - bit of customising needed and experimentation,

4) LEDs - with diffusers (because in standard form they are very directional), or else you can use LED's and do what I did and put some foil on the back of the 'clear' part of your dash so it spreads the light a little (you need more than the 3 or 4 that LH/LX has usually...

5) Coloured globes- autobarn etc

that's all I can think of atm!
